Care & Maintenance
Montage European Oak Floors are finished with a penetrating oil finish that is designed to protect your new beautiful hardwood floors without a top surface film. This allows the wood to give and take moisture in harmony with the environment around it. It also provides a dirt and wear resistant surface on the floor allowing it to last a lifetime without the need to ever re-sand.
After Installation
Must clean floor after installation prior to covering to prevent dirt and construction residue from the job site, use paper or cardboard. DO NOT tape paper or cardboard directly to the floor. DO NOT use any tape including Blue Tape or Mineral Spirits when installation oiled floors.
Initial Cleaning
(Only Use WOCA Cleaning Products)

Let the floor dry for 4 to 6 hours before allowing foot traffic and placing rugs.
*Mop the floor gently using a wrung cloth mop. The mop should be damp, not wet. EXCESS MOISTURE CAN DAMAGE THE FLOOR.
Use WOCA Oil Refresher Soap White on white floors and WOCA Oil Refresher Soap Natural on all other floors. Please refer to After-Care Matrix. (PLEASE CONTACT THE MANUFACTURER FOR FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS)

Routine Cleaning
Perform Bi-Monthly or Monthly cleaning by vacuuming/sweeping and then spraying WOCA Oil Refresher Soap Spray onto the floor. Spread evenly with a clean cloth mop to clean the dirt. Let the floor dry for 1 to 2 hours before allowing foot traffic and placing rugs.

NOTE: Overuse of WOCA OIL Refreshing Soap may become sticky overtime on the surface of the floor. This can also lead to abnormal collection of dirt and/or gloss variations.
Nourish Your Floors
Oil finished floors should never need to be re-sanded. Traffic patterns or wear areas can be easily reduced by applying the WOCA Intensive Wood Cleaner followed by the WOCA Maintenance Oil Diamond Active. Typically in a residential application this is anywhere from 3-5 years after initial use of the floor. WOCA Maintenance Oil Diamond Active provides the floor with additional wearing properties. Use WOCA Maintenance Oil Diamond Active White on white oiled floors and Maintenance Oil Diamond Active Natural on all other floors. Follow directions on the label or refer to www.wocausa.com for production application instructions.
Commercial Applications
Perform daily cleaning by vacuuming and then damp mopping with WOCA Master Soap if needed. Mix 1 cup of WOCA Master Soap Concentrate with 10 quarts of water in a bucket. Damp mop the entire floor with this mixture using a cloth mop. In addition to the Master Soap for regular cleaning, commercial spaces benefit from a monthly cleaning with WOCA Oil Refreshing Soap. Mix 1 cup of WOCA Refresher Concentrate with 5 quarts of water in a bucket.
